I didn't get full-time. I actually got an extension of my contract. It took me a while to consider it, since I was waiting to see if I would get any calls from places I've applied to... I haven't gotten any. Then HR decided to inform me that they needed 2 weeks notice if I wasn't extending. No other choice than to sign...
I signed it.
My recruiter also asked me to advise them if I would take the extension. I did, and was later notified that they would be meeting with HR, and would let me know of any other details regarding my contract. I guess that's pretty cool.
I was actually considering just going ahead with the current expiry, then just work at my part-time on weekdays while I job hunt for another position. That plan didn't come to light because it wouldn't be enough to sustain everything/everyone... so, I had no other option but to continue my current position.
That being said, I am considering resigning from my part-time job very soon... as I've been working on one project and well, it's been taking me way too long to complete it. There's also communication barriers too, e-mail doesn't work too well in some cases, and I am not there during business hours. I am thinking either I leave notice after one more project, or I take on all of the projects before the new season starts.
I'm also very lazy nowadays... I think that's because I want to enjoy my summer, so I want to enjoy my evenings and weekends. After fall arrives, I think I will be more motivated to do my work. I'm technically still in my 'school mode', where I think the summer is a break season. And it totally is.
Anyway, I need to clean my room. I need to donate my books (they are still lying in a bag in my room, on the floor).
I have been studying my Japanese... just not as much as I had hoped to. My main form of 'studying' is watching dramas or anime with English subtitles. Not a really good way to study, since it's kind of cheating with the English subtitles on. I need Japanese subtitles too, if it were to be a more effective studying tool.
I overall just need to stop being lazy. It's just so difficult! It's summer, and I want to enjoy it!
I was also hoping that in the event that I do get a new job, I would be less lazy because I was in something more fresh and new. That could somewhat be true, because when I first started my current position, I would do so many things after work, such as doing gaming streams, going to my part-time job frequently (like every weekend, because I was used to going to work every weekend before, when I worked at Starbucks), and maybe I kept my room clean too. After a few months on the job, and after summer arrived, I just got SO lazy...
I also need to work out too. Flabbing right now.
All my laziness should stop, one step at a time. I'll start with tonight, and keep it ongoing. I need to make a list of some sort. When I use to study for school before, I always made a list and a time frame of what I needed to study, how long I needed to study...etc. It really helped a lot, so I think it should help with making me unlazy.
I'm also slightly craving making YouTube videos again... I don't want to just do video blogs anymore though, I might be too boring for that now.
ERRGGHHHHHHHHHH. :3
