I really need to write more.

Alright, so I'm back from a long hiatus... School started, new job started, and I've just been lazy with EVERYTHING... but now I realize I need to make a list and what better way to do that then to write a blog? lol

So about that last interview I mentioned about. Long story short, I didn't get that job. The employer changed their direction for the position... so the position was no longer up for grabs. However, a month ish later, I did get a job in my field. Woohoo! Not full-time, but part-time, but it's a pretty awesome job. I like it. I like my co-workers. The scheduling is nice too, I work my own hours. :)

As for school, let's say I need to make that list now. So here we go...

I need to work on my abstract for my essay for my film history class. No idea what my argument will be, which is why I should open up those books I borrowed from the library and read them to inspire myself... oh and, I should also start reading those chapters from my textbook that will be on the upcoming quiz in a few weeks. Why did I stop reading those? Because they took so long for me to read one chapter for the week... and I had a hectic time studying for my midterm. Miraculously, I passed and did a decent job on my midterm. And that was because I read the chapters and highlighted the crap out of them... (which I won't attempt to highlight everything again)

I also need to redo some notes for my film theory class. That class is the one I'm struggling with right now because analyzing texts is difficult. I'm so bad at reading formal articles... I also need to improve my analysis of films from a non-technical point of view. I'm hoping I do well on our quiz and final exam. But in order to do that I really need to reorganize my notes and re-read quotes from the reading and try to understand them.

There's this book I've also been procrastinating with for more than a year now... really need to finish the book sometime and then start on another book I haven't touched. I think I'll get to it once school settles down or once my exam week starts. Oh, and as for exams, I'm fortunate that I have plenty of study time for my one final exam, which I will definitely need to study during MOST of the time! As for my other course, I only have a final paper. I'm hoping I can finish it by the time classes end before exams, that way I only have to focus on my exam and not both at the same time. I also would have some time to hangout with some friends I haven't seen in a while. :)

I think that's most of what I need to do... other than the usual cleaning of my room... should probably get to that soon. It's difficult to concentrate when it's cluttered.

I should sleep now so I can wake up early to get started on my abstract and other schoolwork. I'll blog more soon :)
